The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy hospital ship Silk Road Ark, currently on Mission Harmony 2025, has arrived in Montego Bay for a 12-day visit to provide medical services. The deployment comes as Jamaica continues to recover from Hurricane Melissa, which caused significant damage in the country's southwest and increased pressure on its healthcare system. During its stay, the ship will provide medical support at three ports: Montego Bay, Kingston and Falmouth.
