Hawaii's Kilauea volcano erupts, knocks out remote camera

A remote monitoring camera captured the moment it was disabled while recording the eruption of Hawaii's Kilauea volcano on December 6.
Footage released by the U.S. Geological Survey shows lava spewing from the volcano's north vent, with sustained fountains reaching heights of 15 to 30 meters.
