China urged Japan to immediately cease its dangerous harassment of China's normal training activities and cease all irresponsible false hype and political manipulation on Monday.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated at a news conference that China has explicitly expressed its firm stance on the matter and that the facts are very clear. He emphasized that China's military exercises in the relevant sea and air areas fully adhere to international law and standards, and that the operations conducted were professional, in accordance with international standards, and beyond reproach.
