The latest season of "In Search of Ancient China," a 22-episode documentary based on the latest achievements of the country's major archaeological and historical research projects, has been launched by China Media Group (CMG). Starting from December 8, the program aired on CMG's CCTV-1 TV channel and online platforms, with the first three episodes focusing on the discovery of the Sanxingdui Ruins. Following clues from historical sites, ancient books, cultural relics and ancient peoples, the documentary aims to present the historical context behind the origins, formation, and development of Chinese civilization, highlighting its pluralistic unity.
