A CEO summit will take place in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, where business leaders from the Chinese mainland and China's Taiwan region will explore opportunities from the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) and support Taiwan businesses in integrating into the mainland's new development approach.

The 2025 Cross-Strait CEO Summit, scheduled for December 16 and 17, aims to strengthen industrial and supply chain collaboration across the Taiwan Strait.

Approximately 800 participants are expected, including the summit's council members, entrepreneurs from both sides of the Strait, and relevant experts.

Fujian Province, a frontline region for cross-Strait exchanges, announced its fifth batch of measures on December 2 to promote cross-Strait development.

The 12 new measures focus on supporting Taiwan enterprises and entrepreneurs, improve tax services, and boost trade, cultural and tourism exchanges.

Key initiatives include strengthening land and sea-use guarantees for Taiwan-invested projects, creating a smart tax-service platform for Taiwan companies, and supporting Taiwan entrepreneurs opening Sha County (Shaxian) snack outlets in Taiwan.

Since September 2023, Fujian has implemented 74 measures in five phases, steadily enhancing the experience for Taiwan residents and businesses.

Together, the CEO summit and Fujian's policies highlight ongoing efforts to promote stability, trust and shared prosperity across the Strait through dialogue, cooperation, and institutional innovation.
