China's rapid parasports development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025) has reflected major advances in social security and service systems for people with disabilities.

The 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games, held from December 8 to 15, are taking place across Guangdong, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR, with 7,824 athletes from 34 delegations registered.
