Multiple swimming records shattered at National Games for Persons with Disabilities

Shenzhen's pool was the setting for more fast swims on the third day of China's 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and 9th National Special Olympic Games, with several national records tumbling.

In the women's 400m freestyle S12, Shandong's Wang Ziqing took gold in 5:06.74, with Hebei's Lu Jingxin finishing second and Jiangsu's Feng Siyu placing third.

The men's 400m freestyle S12 final saw Shandong's Xu Xingshang reset the national mark in 4:19.97, ahead of Jiangsu's Yu Tianyi and Zhejiang's Zheng Yongqi.

In the men's 100m butterfly S13, Guangdong's Huang Xueliang triumphed in 1:01.63, another new national record. Tianjin's Liu Yutao and Hunan's Liu Pengsi completed the podium.

Liaoning's Zhang Xiaotong clinched gold in the women's 200m individual medley SM11 event.

And in the men's 200m individual medley SM11 final, Zhejiang's Li Zhixin touched the wall first in 2:29.13. Shandong's Sun Chuanzhen and Tianjin's Yang Bozun took silver and bronze, respectively.
