Satellite images show a Venezuelan oil tanker seized by U.S. forces near Venezuela on December 10 traveling in the Caribbean. The ultra-large crude carrier reportedly holds about 1.85 million barrels of heavy Venezuelan oil. Because the tanker is too large to enter the port of Houston directly, its cargo must be transferred offshore to smaller vessels. The White House said the oil may be seized. Venezuela condemned the action as "international piracy."
