December 13 marked China's National Memorial Day for Nanjing Massacre Victims. During the six-week massacre in 1937 and 1938, Japanese invaders brutally killed around 300,000 Chinese civilians and unarmed soldiers. A ceremony was held at the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders to honor those who lost their lives during World War II. In Jiangsu Province, soldiers from various countries participated in United Nations peacekeeping training and visited the Memorial Hall. The visit served as a lesson in responsibility and mission, reminding these officers of the toll of atrocities to ensure the protection of civilians and prevent such tragedies from recurring.
