A 68-year-old woman from Chengdu city, southwest China's Sichuan Province, known online as "Grandma Liu," has gone viral after videos showed her confidently riding a skateboard and performing tricks in public spaces. Viewers say she challenges age stereotypes and proves that skateboarding isn't just for the young, but for anyone bold enough to try.

At 65, Grandma Liu started skateboarding from scratch. She had been active in sports such as table tennis, running and cross-country in her youth. Despite a busy life, her passion for movement never faded. When her daughter introduced her to skateboarding, Liu embraced the challenge, proving that age is no barrier to trying something bold.
