A total of 50 golds were awarded on the final day of track and field events at China's 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and 9th National Special Olympic Games, with new national records set in multiple disciplines.
Sichuan's Yang Chunhua claimed top honors in the women's 10,000 meter hearing-impaired final, while also establishing a new national record of 36 minutes, 56.28 seconds.
And in the men's 10,000 meter hearing-impaired final, Zhejiang's Xu Kuantian led all the way before crossing the line first to break the national record in 29 minutes, 57.35 seconds.
Guangxi's Liu Cuiqing had already earned three gold medals in the T11 women's 100, 200, and 400 meter finals. She followed those titles with another breakthrough, helping her team finish first in the T11 mixed 4×100 meter relay in 47.78 seconds. That gave her four trips to the top of the podium at this edition of the competition.
