The death toll from a shooting incident at Sydney's Bondi Beach on Sunday rose to 16, police said on Monday. Fourteen people were killed at the scene, with two more succumbing to their injuries in hospital. A Chinese vlogger who witnessed the evacuation at the beach recounted the frightening moments of the incident to CGTN Stringer. He initially thought the sounds of gunfire were fireworks, but when he saw people starting to run, he realized it was a shooting. "I had never experienced anything like this before," he said. "It was a life-or-death situation."
