The European Council on Monday decided to extend the duration of the existing restrictive measures regarding the situation in Venezuela for another year, until January 10, 2027, according to a statement on the EU Council's website.
Currently, 69 individuals are listed and are therefore subject to an asset freeze and a prohibition on the provision of funds or economic resources, both directly and indirectly. Additionally, they face travel bans within the European Union, the statement added.
