China's mixed doubles pair Ye Zixuan and Yu Sen maintained their perfect start in the mixed doubles curling Olympic qualifying event by beating the Netherlands 7-5 to earn a third-straight win in Group B in Kelowna, Canada on Monday.

The top two teams from each group can advance to the play-off stage. Ye and Yu came into this encounter after back-to-back wins over Hungary and France. Yu delivered a lovely shot between two guards for a raised double takeout.

Then Ye had the hammer in the first end and she bumped her own stone into the yellow to score one point for China.

Their Dutch opponents, Wouter Gosgens and Lisenka Bomas led 5-3 in the seventh end, but Ye made an easy takeout to score three points for a 6-5 advantage. In the eighth end, Ye used the hammer to bump her own stone into the house for a final point to complete the 7-5 win for China to share first place in Group B with Australia on perfect records.
