Police have renewed their manhunt after releasing a man previously detained as a "person of interest" in a shooting at Brown University.
Authorities say the man, in his 20s, was taken into custody based on initial evidence but later released after further review. Officers are now going door to door to collect security camera footage as Providence remains on high alert. Officials said there's no active threat and no shelter-in-place order has been issued.
