The Shandong aircraft carrier returned to Sanya, Hainan, after its final training mission of 2025. Marking its sixth anniversary of commissioning into the PLA Navy on December 17, the aircraft carrier Shandong is China's first self-designed and self-built carrier. In the past six years since its commissioning, the aircraft has participated in a series of significant drills like Joint Sword-2024B and Strait Thunder-2025A.
