The 2025 Cross-Strait CEO Summit opened on Tuesday in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, aiming to strengthen business ties across the Taiwan Strait. This year's summit has attracted widespread attention, with a focus on new cooperation opportunities. China's top political advisor Wang Huning delivered the keynote address, promising greater opportunities for Taiwanese entrepreneurs. He stated that the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan, set to start next year, will bring new momentum to cross-Strait economic cooperation and shared development. Wang also called for increased communication and joint efforts to promote national reunification and improve the well-being of people on both sides of the Strait.
