This rotating phoenix crown is a music box made from hundreds of wooden blocks! In two to four hours, you can assemble the blocks using traditional Chinese mortise and tenon techniques. Its intricate design was inspired by a famous relic once owned by Empress Xiaojing of the Ming Dynasty more than 400 years ago, lavishly decorated with 12 gold dragons and nine phoenixes, and inlaid with kingfisher feathers and over 100 precious stones.
