China's Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) has officially launched island-wide special customs operations on December 18, marking a landmark step in aligning with high-standard international trade rules. The initiative, while drawing attention for tariff-free policies and lower taxation, is centered on a pioneering special customs model designed to streamline cross-border flows and attract global investment.
