Slicing through tropical scenery, China's Fuxing high-speed trains are redefining the "Hainan speed." As the country's first island-circling high-speed railway, the line links Haikou and Sanya along what is often called the most scenic coastal railway in China. Completing a full loop around the island in just 4.5 hours, it compresses time and distance, bringing the dividends of opening up within easy reach.

The railway turns the Hainan Free Trade Port's (FTP) "zero-tariff" and facilitation policies into a seamless, mobile everyday experience, making openness visible, tangible and accessible on the move.
