On the vast grasslands of New Barag Left Banner in Hulun Buir, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, horses gallop freely under the open sky. Their pounding hooves thunder across the steppe, sending waves through the green grass that stretch to the horizon. This scene evokes the thought of the Chinese traditional painting associated with the blessing for the coming Year of Horse. The horses on the grasslands become a living canvas which synthesizes the wind, time and centuries of nomadic traditions, carrying the Chinese tradition of vitality and prosperity with the ancient blessing.
