The total box office revenue for animation films in China has surpassed 25 billion yuan ($3.55 billion) in 2025, the highest in the country's cinematic history, according to Maoyan, a Chinese film industry data platform.
Currently, "Ne Zha 2," "Zootopia 2," and "Nobody" rank in the top three spots on the box office chart of animated films.
