In Xizang, color is not mere pigment but the eternal pulse of faith and nature. Local culture reveres five symbolic colors – white, red, yellow, green, and blue – each deeply rooted in the land's spirituality and carrying profound meaning.

White signifies auspiciousness and purity, mirroring drifting clouds and snow-capped peaks, and is among the most ubiquitous hues. Red embodies fire – majestic and untamed. Yellow represents earth and sacred mountains. Green captures nature's vitality, echoing flowing rivers and holy lakes brimming with life. Blue, drawn from the heavens, reflects the purest reverence for the sky and adorns sacred waters.

When the setting sun washes the Potala Palace's golden roofs in light, Xizang's truest colors emerge not on canvas but across its vast landscapes – snow-clad ranges, crystal lakes, and endless grasslands – blending into nature's most breathtaking masterpiece.
