The 21st Ice and Snow Naadam Fair of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region officially opened on Sunday. More than just a festival, the Naadam is a living tradition of the northern Chinese grasslands.
This year's event blends heritage with innovation, merging culture and tourism in a true winter celebration. In a break from tradition, it is being held for the first time on the frozen Yimin River in Hailar District, Hulun Buir.
