The 2025 Himalayan Rim Regional Film Exhibition was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from December 14 to 21, providing China a platform to showcase the integration of traditional Chinese culture and modern digital technology to young Nepalese students.

Kundan Aryal, head of the Central Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Tribhuvan University, said the event provided local artists and film enthusiasts with a valuable opportunity to engage with the Chinese film industry. He said the animated film screenings and hands-on workshops offered an inspiring and memorable experience.
