The Japanese PM's Office says the country needs nuclear weapons. In an interview with CGTN, Susi Snyder, the director of programs at the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons, says it is not in Japan's security interests to add more nuclear weapons to the global mix. She comments that atomic bomb survivors are disappointed that the country is not a member of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.
