In 2025, Garima, a model from Nepal, embarked on a journey to China on her own, driven by a yearning for the country. This year, she transformed from a viewer watching China through screens to a real participant of life here.

When Garima first arrived in China, it was the modern urban environment and efficient public transport that left her in awe. In time, what moved her even more was the kindness and patience of Chinese people. So far, Garima has experienced the Chinese New Year in Harbin, has immersed herself in the bustling atmosphere of the night market in Chengdu, and has fallen in love with hotpot and mooncakes. Now, China has become an inseparable part of Garima's life story.
