Stories in 2025: One perfect catch – a Brazilian student's journey in China

Benati Carrara Pietro, a 25-year-old young man from Brazil, is an international exchange student at the Communication University of China. Driven by his desire to connect with more people, he left Brazil for the first time and came to China.

Here, he studies, travels and makes friends, using his camera to capture moments of campus life. Through ultimate Frisbee, he has also met many Chinese teammates. In his view, although people may differ in appearance, language and culture, a single simple throw and catch can turn strangers into teammates.
