Professor Quentin Parker from the University of Hong Kong reflects on his dozens of visits to the Chinese mainland in recent years. He highlights the country's world-class infrastructure – from high-speed rail networks to clean, safe, and well-planned cities. What impressed him most, however, is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the Chinese people, as well as the open, collaborative spirit he experienced during academic exchanges in space research institutes and universities across the country.
