In early December, French President Emmanuel Macron visited China from December 3 to 5, with stops in Chengdu and Beijing. Diplomatic engagement continued with a visit by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.
As China and the European Union also mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year, in this year-end program, CGTN's reporter Zheng Yuqiong sits down with young professionals from across Europe who are studying at Peking University, some of whom also have hands-on experience at the European Commission and embassies. One of the guests also serves as secretary-general of European Guanxi, a youth non-profit organization that encourages dialogue between young Europeans and Chinese, helping bridge perceptions and foster mutual understanding and closer cooperation.
As these two large economies navigate cooperation and competition, where are China-EU relations heading next – and what could that mean for you?
