In a recent exclusive interview with CGTN, Jiang Xiaoyan, Chinese Ambassador to North Macedonia, said that cooperation between China and North Macedonia has continued to yield tangible results across trade, infrastructure and people-to-people exchanges.
She noted that China has become North Macedonia's third-largest trading partner and its largest non-European partner, with Macedonian products such as wine, marble and truffles gaining popularity in the Chinese market.
Jiang highlighted North Macedonia's growing role as a transport and logistics hub for the Balkans, saying that Chinese investment in infrastructure and manufacturing has created thousands of local jobs and strengthened regional connectivity.
She also pointed to the strong potential for cooperation in renewable energy and green development as North Macedonia moves to increase the share of renewables in its power generation.
