Nobusuke Kishi returned to power to boost Japan's militarism. His grandson Shinzo Abe continued this, expanding Japan's security role and recklessly claiming "a Taiwan emergency," crossing red lines. Today, figures such as Sanae Takaichi are even flirting with nuclear armament – further eroding Japan's postwar pacifist restraints.
