The Disney animated sequel "Zootopia 2" has surpassed 100 million admissions in China, becoming the first imported film to reach this milestone, according to industry tracker Maoyan Pro. It is also the seventh film in China's box-office history to reach the mark.

The film has so far grossed nearly 4 billion yuan (around $570 million), ranking it among the top 12 films on China's all-time box-office chart. Its global box office has reached $1.465 billion.

According to Disney Films' official Weibo account, "Zootopia 2" will extend its theatrical run through January 25, 2026.

The film's strong performance has also fueled a wave of merchandise sales and cross-industry collaborations. "Zootopia 2"-themed products, including blind-box collectibles, apparel, footwear, beverages and jewelry, have shown strong appeal among consumers.
