A mother grass owl was found raising her chicks at a construction site of a drug company in Wenjiang District, in China's megacity of Chengdu.

The company, Sichuan Tianji Bio-Pharm, immediately halted construction to give the family space to raise the chicks. Weeks later, the young owls are learning to fly and preparing to return to the wild.
