Ousmane Dembele scooped up the Best Men's Player accolade at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, with the PSG winger beating out Kylian Mbappe, Raphinha, Vitinha and Lamine Yamal.

Dembele capped a stunning year that included winning the Ballon d'Or in September for a superb season with PSG, highlighted by the Ligue 1 club's first UEFA Champions League title.

"I'm happy to have won all these individual trophies, but I say it all the time, it's the team that comes first, and I also want to thank my whole family and my two best friends who are here, Moustapha Diatta and Dayot Upamecano. I'm savoring every moment I've had this 2025 season. I've won practically every individual trophy, and I'm living my best life," said the French winger.

Barcelona teen sensation Yamal claimed three prizes – Best Forward, Best Under-23 Player in La Liga and the Maradona Award. Portugal and Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo showed that he is still going strong at the age of 40, earning recognition as the Best Middle East Player.

"I want to carry on. You know what my goal is. I want to win more trophies, and I want to reach the number that you all know, and I will reach that number for sure," said Ronaldo.

In one of the ceremony's most emotional moments, late Liverpool forward Diogo Jota received a special award, with his parents traveling to Dubai to accept the honor on his behalf.

The evening concluded with the introduction of a newly-minted prize – the first Globe Sports Award – which was presented by Ronaldo to tennis great Novak Djokovic.
