The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is employing destroyers, frigates, fighters, bombers and unmanned aerial vehicles in coordination with long-range rocket fire, to conduct training in the waters and airspace to the north and southwest of Taiwan Island on Monday. 

The training focuses on hunting and neutralizing targets in waters and airspace, simulated strikes on ground targets, and live-fire drills against maritime targets. 

The exercises are aimed at testing the troops' integrated coordination capabilities and their ability to seize battlefield dominance.
