The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army is employing destroyers, frigates, fighters, bombers and unmanned aerial vehicles in coordination with long-range rocket fires, to conduct training in the waters and airspace to the north and southwest of the Taiwan Strait on Monday.
The training focuses on hunting and neutralizing targets at sea and in the air, simulated strikes on ground targets, and live-fire drills against maritime targets.
The exercises are aimed at testing the troops' capabilities of integrated coordination and seizure of dominance.
