Regarding Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's recent erroneous remarks on China's Taiwan region and the nuclear issue, Charles Onunaiju, director of the Centre for China Studies in Nigeria, stated that the Taiwan question is China's internal affair. He emphasized that linking the Taiwan Strait situation to Japan's security not only violates international consensus but also risks escalating regional tensions. He called on the international community to remain vigilant to prevent Japan from returning to part practices that were destructive to the global order.
