The United States recently announced a plan to sell advanced weapons to China's Taiwan region, a move widely viewed as provocative. The arms package is valued at over $11.1 billion, exceeding the total U.S. arms sales to Taiwan during former President Joe Biden's four-year term and setting a record for a single deal.

In response to this, several Taipei residents shared their views on the issue. When it came to cross-strait relations, one resident believed that reunification would be the best option. Another resident directly stated, "As Chinese people, we always value harmony above all."
