CGTN's Zheng Yibing interviewed Taiwan scholar Fred Tzou about "Justice Mission 2025," the PLA military drill around Taiwan Island. Tzou is based in the United States. He said the root cause of the tensions across the Taiwan Strait lies with the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities on the island. He said the DPP should abandon its illusions about external forces and not take risks with the well-being of the some 23 million people in the Taiwan region.
