The completion of the Kucha-Altay-Bachu 750 kV project marks the finalization of Xinjiang's "seven inner loops" ultra-high-voltage grid, forming a "seven inner loops, five outer channels" framework. This milestone, achieved during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), will transform Xinjiang into China's largest provincial power grid by coverage, with over 1.6 million square kilometers served. The advanced infrastructure is expected to further enhance energy reliability and support regional economic growth.
