The anti-secession and anti-interference operations around Taiwan Island by the Chinese People's Liberation Army were entirely justified, necessary and beyond reproach, said a Chinese defense spokesperson on Friday.

Zhang Xiaogang, a spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, made the remarks in response to some comments by the United States, Japan, Australia, the Philippines and the European Union on the "Justice Mission 2025" drills.
