Beijing Hotel's cultural treasures on display until June

Beijing Hotel, a renowned landmark in China's capital with a rich history, has long been a guardian of cultural heritage, and its collection of contemporary Chinese art is now on display at an ongoing exhibition in east Beijing's Wanli Center of Contemporary Art.  

Titled "Behold the Year's Unfolding Spring in Its Grace," the exhibition brings together works by dozens of master artists – including Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong and Huang Yongyu – whose names are synonymous with excellence in Chinese art.

The exhibition is ingeniously organized around themes such as spring scenery, landscapes, flowers and trees, and ancient scholars' gatherings. By focusing on the creation of artistic concepts and complementing the artworks with real-life settings, the exhibition brings the paintings and calligraphy back to their original contexts.

In a world where cultural exchange is becoming increasingly important, this exhibition, which will run until June, has quickly become a hot topic among art lovers and the general public. During China's three-day New Year holiday, the art center saw a steady stream of visitors, all eager to catch a glimpse of these precious artworks.
