The US military aggression against Venezuela has sparked intense international debate. Boris Barrera,  member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, condemns the US move, calling it a dangerous precedent that threatens regional peace.  He says the action undermines the US's justification of a so-called “war on drugs,” and argues the real aim is acquiring Venezuela's oil and natural resources.
