The 2025 China Sci-Tech Innovation Gala, produced by China Media Group in collaboration with Hefei City in Anhui Province, paid tribute to the historic arrival of the Four Anhui Opera Troupes in Beijing in 1790 – a milestone in Chinese opera history that laid the foundation for the emergence of Peking Opera – through a specially curated technology-meets-theater performance.
