Statement: In response to the statements made by the President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump, today, January 4, 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia expresses its strongest rejection, considering that they disregard the fundamental principles that govern relations between sovereign states and are incompatible with the respect due to the democratic institutions of Colombia.
