Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning on Tuesday said no country has the right to act as the world's police or presume itself an international judge, stressing that military force is not a solution to disputes. Responding to questions about U.S. military strikes against Venezuela, Mao said China supports Venezuela in safeguarding its sovereignty and security and calls on all countries, especially major powers, to abide by international law and the purposes and principles of the UN Charter.
