Paulina Moreno, a resident living near the Fuerte Tiuna in Venezuelan capital Caracas, recounted the terrifying moments she experienced on January 3, when the U.S. carried out strikes on the military complex.

In an exclusive interview with CGTN, she describes being awakened by a loud buzzing sound, followed by blinding flashes, explosions, gunfire and a sudden blackout that cut off electricity and communications.
