00:56

After a recent snowfall, the Yellow River wetland in Hejin City, Shanxi Province, was transformed into a white winter landscape, attracting nearly 1,000 grey cranes, a species under the second level of national protection in China. Improved local ecological conditions have allowed the population to reach nearly 10,000 at peak times.
