Construction of the Changhai Cross-sea Bridge in Dalian City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, reached a milestone on January 8 with the precise connection of the final bridge deck section.

The successful linking of the main pier's steel platform marks a major breakthrough in the key control point of the project. Located in the Yellow Sea, the Changhai Cross-sea Bridge project is currently China's largest ongoing project involving an artificial island and highway in terms of investment scale.
